Discussion
Low pressure will continue to produce some precipitation in the region this morning in the form of rain and sleet, but a drying trend will get underway later today. Another storm will develop tomorrow in the Southeast US and head towards the Carolina coastline by tomorrow night. We'll be on the northwestern edge of its precipitation field tomorrow night into early Friday at the same time colder air is moving in from the northwest. There is a chance that if the trending with this storm continues to the north we'll see some accumulating snow around here in the NYC metro region, but it is more likely across New Jersey. Stay tuned on this next threat as it is a close call. The weekend actually gets milder after a cold Friday to close out the work week, and then much colder air moves in early next week.
