Discussion
High pressure will continue to dominate the weather scene for today and an offshore flow will keep high temperatures pleasant into mid-week. By Wednesday, an upper level trough will begin approaching the region and our high pressure system will be pushed off to the east. As a result, more clouds will move back into southern California and a cooling trend will take place. In fact, there will be an increasing chance for rain as the week progresses with the approach of the upper level low.
