Discussion
After some early morning snow shower activity, today will turn out milder than yesterday and an upper level high pressure ridge will keep the western states rather pleasant for the next few days. In fact, our temperatures will actually soar to the 60’s for the second half of the week and could even pass the 70 degree mark. The pleasantly mild weather will likely continue into the weekend as well with sunshine expected on both days although highs will likely be closer to 60 degrees than 70. Meanwhile, Comet PAN-STAARS is now visible in the northern hemisphere and the sky conditions may be quite favorable over the next few evenings to view it in the western sky shortly after sunset.
