Discussion

Another major snowstorm slammed the southern Rockies over the weekend, but quite a change is in store for this week. A warming trend gets underway today and it’ll peak late in the week with high temperatures reaching the “spring-fever alert” mid-to-upper 60’s. Normal highs for this time of year have reached 53 degrees and we’ll be way above that level for the second half of the week. One final note, Comet PAN-STAARS is now visible in the northern hemisphere and the sky conditions may be quite favorable over the next few evenings to view it in the western sky shortly after sunset.
