Discussion

The overall weather pattern looks be to on the cold side for much of the second half of March and it will also be quite active with numerous fast-moving systems. One such system will drop southeastward from the Upper Midwest into the Mid-Atlantic region by tomorrow bringing with it some snow and sleet to SE PA and snow accumulations are possible; especially, on grassy surfaces and in higher elevation locations. It’ll stay chilly on Sunday behind this first system and then another wave of low pressure will slide just to our south on Monday bringing with it another round of snow, sleet and/or rain Monday morning with snow accumulations again possible, and then it'll likely be plain rain during the period of later Monday PM into early Tuesday. A strong cold front will then sweep through the region late Tuesday and that'll usher in more cold air for the middle of next week and latter parts of next week.
