Discussion

A frontal system passed through the region yesterday and stalled out just to the south of here as high pressure builds across New England. A batch of showers is riding from west-to-east along the stalled out frontal system this morning and we'll experience occasional showers into the mid-day or early afternoon hours. The afternoon will see some sunshine, but it'll remain somewhat unsettled and milder with another shower or thunderstorm possible. The next couple of days should be mainly on the dry side, but a shower or thunderstorm cannot be completely ruled out. The weekend will turn slightly cooler as the New England increases its influence on our area. More showers could return early next week associated with the same stalled out frontal system as it tries to head to the north.
