Discussion
It’ll turn very warm and humid this week, but the transition from the weekend dry and cool conditions will be unsettled over the next 24 hours or so and some of the rain that occurs can be heavy at times. It’ll stay relatively cool today, but the threat for rain will increase this afternoon and evening as a warm front begins to work its way through the area. By later tomorrow, the new warm and humid air mass will become pretty well established in the region and this will set the stage for a hot and humid period from Thursday through Saturday. By later Sunday, a cold front will approach from the west increasing our chances for more shower and thunderstorm activity at the end of the upcoming weekend and the early part of next week.
