An unusual upper air pattern will keep the eastern part of the country quite hot for the next few days, but the southern Rockies will stay under the influence of an upper level low that retrograded from the East over the past few days. As a result, temperatures will stay comfortable around here and a shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out.
