Discussion
The hottest week of the summer will continue uninterrupted through the week, but there is relief in sight. A cool front will approach the region from the Great Lakes on Saturday enhancing our chances for showers and thunderstorms by then and some of the late day storms can be strong. Canadian-born high pressure building in behind the front on Sunday will likely hold our high temperatures to the low-to-mid 80’s to close out the weekend.
