Discussion
Strong high pressure spreading eastward from the northern Plains will control our weather into the weekend and temperatures will remain at below normal levels as our unseasonal chill continues. Temperatures will drop to right at or even slightly below the freezing mark late tonight in suburban locations and widespread frost is possible towards morning. Low pressure will move north of the Great lakes this weekend and will trail a weak front into the Mid-Atlantic states. High pressure will build into the region behind that front for the early part of next week.
