Discussion
It is a cold start to the new work week thanks to high pressure sitting over the Northeast US that originated in Canada. This high will slide off the New England coast over the next 24 hours and this shift will allow for the return of milder air into the Mid-Atlantic region by the middle of the week. A frontal system crossing the country from west-to-east could push some rain our way later this week before another chilly air mass reaches the east coast.
