Discussion
Dry and very cold weather will dominate through Friday and then attention will turn to a developing low pressure system across the south-central US. That low looks like it will intensify as it consolidates near the Northeast US coastline during the upcoming weekend. It is still too early to call the precipitation-type for this next storm, but there is an increasing chance for accumulating snow on Saturday that could be followed by a wintry mix.
