Discussion

An approaching cold front will bring occasional showers to the region for today and tonight and there can be a thunderstorm or two mixed in late in the day or early tonight. This front will clear the east coast by early tomorrow and a clearing trend will set in with noticeable improvement for Saturday afternoon and Sunday promises to be quite a nice day for this time of year to close out the weekend. That break in the action won’t last too long; however, as another moisture-laden system will arrive on Monday with significant rainfall possible.
