Discussion
Strong high pressure will lose control of our weather today as a cold frontal system pushes towards the east coast. This front will generate late day and evening showers in the Mid-Atlantic region and maybe even a thunderstorm or two. Behind the front, it’ll turn noticeably cooler on Wednesday along with a stiff NW wind and it should remain pretty cool and breezy on Thursday as well. Milder conditions will return to the area as we close out the work week, but so will a threat for showers.
