Discussion
A cold front slipped through the region on Sunday and this front will stall out well to our south today as we begin the new week. High pressure will build into the region behind the front providing us with sunshine and slightly cooler-than-normal temperatures to begin the week. That same frontal system will then turn around and head back to the north as a warm front later this week bringing with it the threat for a few showers and scattered thunderstorms during the second half of the week. The warm front will have a difficult time passing through our region at the end of the week, but if it should make it, temperatures would jump well up into the 70's by early in the weekend.
