Discussion

High pressure will move south of the region today and a warm front will approach the area on Wednesday from the southwest. The warm front will enhance the chances around here for showers and thunderstorms from late tonight through tomorrow night and some of the storms that form can be on the strong side. A cool front will cross the region on Thursday and high pressure will return as we close out the work week and begin the weekend, but lingering low pressure to the east will still threaten us with a shower or thunderstorm each day into the weekend.
