Discussion

Weak high pressure will take control of our weather today, but the calm atmosphere will not last too long. An organized cluster of heavy showers and strong thunderstorms will move across the Ohio Valley today and reach the I-95 corridor late tonight and early Thursday and some of the rainfall around here will be heavy at times. In fact, the rain could be heavy enough to cause a disruption in the Thursday morning rush hour in parts of the I-95 corridor. Any thunderstorm that accompanies this activity late tonight and early tomorrow can be on the strong-to-severe side with damaging wind gusts. Nice weather will follow at the end of the week and likely continue right through the upcoming weekend.
