Discussion
Unsettled weather will be the rule in the Mid-Atlantic region this week with a constant threat for showers and thunderstorms although much of the time will be rain-free. Any shower or thunderstorm that forms over the next few days can produce heavy rainfall in a short period of time. Meandering frontal systems and weak high pressure will allow for these unsettled weather conditions to persist through the week and then there is a chance that stronger high pressure takes over this weekend and continues our current winning streak of nice weekends here in the Mid-Atlantic region.
