Discussion
A weak frontal system will hang around the region for another day and then lift northward as a warm front on Thursday. A cold front will then approach the region late Friday and all of this will keep our weather quite unsettled through the rest of the work week. Any shower or thunderstorm that forms during the next few days can produce heavy rainfall amounts in a short period of time along with localized flooding conditions and this is especially a threat for the Thursday and Friday PM hours. It appears the timing is just right once again for another nice weekend in the Mid-Atlantic region. The weekend weather should feature noticeable improvement with lowering humidity values as high pressure settles into the area.
