Discussion
Powerful thunderstorms pounded the Mid-Atlantic region in the overnight hours ahead of an approaching cold front and that frontal system will works its way through the region later today. The frontal passage will usher in another spectacular air mass for this time of year with low humidity values and comfortable temperatures. The cooler air, anchored by strong Canadian high pressure and below-normal for this time of year, will become quite noticeable later tonight and it should stay quite comfortable for the next few days.
