Discussion
Less humid air pushed into the region yesterday and humidity will remain at moderate levels today as well. High pressure will push off the Northeast coastline tonight; however, and this will usher in a return to high humidity air for Friday and Saturday. While there can be scattered showers and thunderstorms later in the day on Friday, a more widespread threat comes Saturday afternoon and evening with the approach of a strong cool frontal system. Once that next cool front clears the east coast on Sunday, much cooler and drier air will push into the area and it’ll stay cooler-than-normal on Monday and Tuesday as well.
