Discussion
Low pressure off the east coast this morning will continue to push area from the region and this will allow for improvement in the weather with the return of some sunshine and warmer conditions compared to yesterday. Temperatures this afternoon should reach the 80 degree mark, but the warmest weather of the week will take place on Thursday just ahead of the next strong cool frontal system. That front will generate numerous showers and thunderstorms later tomorrow and some of the storms can be strong with brief heavy rainfall and gusty winds. Once that front clears the east coast early Friday, another cool air mass will move into the region and the weekend promises to be well below normal for this time of year with showers likely on Saturday.
