Discussion
High pressure was in control of the weather this weekend, but it will gradually lose its grip on the region as we begin the new work week and a cold front approaches the region. This front will slow down as it approaches the coastline and will keep the threat for showers in the region into mid-week. High pressure rebuilds into the area later this week, but then another cold front approaches the region late Friday with another chance for a shower or thunderstorm.
