Discussion
A weak cool front will slide across the region later today giving us the chance for a few showers into the day on Wednesday along with an isolated thunderstorm or two - this will not be a heavy rain event. High pressure will build into the region on Thursday before a strong cold front approaches late in the day on Friday. That next front is likely to generate numerous showers as we close out the work week and maybe a thunderstorm or two. Much cooler air will arrive for the weekend following the passage of the strong cold frontal system.
