Discussion
After a dry and chilly day to end the work week, soaking rain will move into the region late this evening and continue through much of the day on Saturday. The rain will come down heavily at times; especially, late tonight and tomorrow morning and the end result for total rainfall should be between 0.75 and 1.00 inch. Sunday will feature some sunshine, but it’ll be quite breezy and a shower cannot be ruled out. The new work week will start out quiet and mild, but colder air will push into the Mid-Atlantic region by mid-week.
