Discussion

The new week will start off rather mild both today and Tuesday, but there will be plenty of clouds around each day and then big changes will take place by mid-week. A strong cold front will arrive on Tuesday and it will usher in an important change to the overall weather pattern with the return of colder-than-normal air to the Mid-Atlantic region for the second half of the week and beyond. In fact, snow is even a possibility at the end of the week as moisture along the coast will push northward at the same time cold air will be in place around here. One final note, Boston, MA broke its all-time snowfall record this weekend for a winter season with more than 108 inches now officially recorded.
