Discussion
An upper-level disturbance will cross over the Northeast US today and it could generate a few showers in the local region. Weak high pressure will then build into the region on Tuesday and, following that, attention will turn towards an area of moisture in the Southeast US at mid-week. This moisture is likely to consolidate with developing low pressure near the east coast during the second half of the week. As a result, rain is possible in the I-95 corridor on Thursday from this potential coastal storm and the threat for showers may last into Friday. Both Thursday and Friday will be quite cool for this time of year given the expected abundant cloud cover.
