Discussion
Get the air conditioner ready as next week will turn warm with 80 degrees possible for high temperatures by Monday afternoon. First, we'll have to deal with cooler and damp weather as we close out the work week as a storm organizes off the Mid-Atlantic coastline. Even though the brunt of the storm will remain off-shore, a persistent low-level flow of air out of the NE will form and it'll push in cooler air off the ocean into the I-95 corridor. As a result, temperatures today will be noticeably cooler than yesterday and highs on Friday may struggle to pass the 60 degree mark along with an occasional shower. The beginning of the weekend will feature improvement and noticeably milder conditions; however, a shower or two cannot be ruled out for Saturday afternoon. High pressure takes full control by Sunday which should turn out to be quite pleasant and then it'll turn downright warm early next week with 80 degrees possible for highs on Monday and Tuesday.
