Discussion
In a very similar pattern to last week, early week inclement weather will be swept away by a strong cool front and the period stretching from Wednesday through Friday will feature refreshingly cool and dry air for this time of year. After soaking rain last night in much of the Mid-Atlantic region, scattered afternoon and early evening showers and thunderstorms will accompany a cool frontal passage and then NW breezes will pick up late tonight and continue on Wednesday bringing with them a comfortably cool and less humid air mass for the second half of the week. While still a few days way, right now it looks like the nice weather pattern may continue through much of the upcoming holiday weekend with dry conditions likely through at least Sunday and increasingly warmer temperatures.
