Discussion
High pressure anchored off the east coast this week will pump in very warm and humid air into the Mid-Atlantic region and high temperatures each day will climb well into the 80’s and perhaps touch the 90 degree mark. While there can be a late day or evening shower or thunderstorm today north and west of the District, a better chance will occur later tomorrow and again on Thursday as a cool front approaches and then stalls in the region. Another cool front will arrive this weekend and that will continue the threat for showers and thunderstorms.
