Discussion

Quite an unsettled first half of the week is in store for the Mid-Atlantic region and the overall short-term weather pattern can produce some heavy rainfall. Low pressure this morning over North Carolina will move northward towards the Delmarva Peninsula and the result will be the threat for a shower or thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. A cold frontal system approaches at mid-week and a wave of low pressure riding along the boundary zone will keep it unsettled around here with the threat for some heavy rainfall.
