Discussion
High pressure controlled the weather this weekend, but this system will give way and the next pair of frontal systems will combine to produce showers and thunderstorms in the Mid-Atlantic region later today into tomorrow and some of the rain can be heavy at times. A warm front will lift through the region on Monday and this will be quickly followed by a cold frontal passage on Tuesday. High pressure will build back into the area at mid-week and should stay in control through the second half of the week.
