Discussion
High pressure controlled the weather this weekend, but this system is giving way to a pair of frontal systems which will combine to produce showers and thunderstorms in the Mid-Atlantic region from today through tomorrow and some of the rain will be heavy at times. A warm front will lift through the region today and this will be quickly followed by a cold frontal passage on Tuesday. High pressure will build back into the area at mid-week and should stay in control through the second half of the week.
