High pressure will dominate the scene in much of the eastern US for the next few days and temperatures will be well above-normal. In fact, 70+ degrees is likely for high temperatures during the next couple of days up and down the I-95 corridor. The next cold front is expected to move through the region by early this weekend with high pressure and cooler air poised to follow.
