Discussion
Low pressure rides northeastward today along the Mid-Atlantic coastline and the result will be periods of rain around here and some of the rain can come down hard at times. The low pressure area pulls away from the coast later tonight and the rain will come to an end along the I-95 corridor. High pressure will briefly re-establish itself in the region on Wednesday (Veterans Day), but then another cold frontal system will generate more rain here on Thursday. Cooler air will follow that frontal system on Friday along with a stiff W-NW wind and then a secondary cold front will usher in even colder air for the weekend.
