Discussion
After a cool weekend, milder air will return to the Mid-Atlantic region to start the work week, but a cold front from the north will temporarily set us back on Tuesday with about a ten degree drop in high temperatures from later today to tomorrow afternoon. A warm front will arrive in the region on Wednesday perhaps accompanied by a few showers and then a strong cold front pushes in by Thursday. That second frontal system is not only likely to trigger a heavy rain event around here on Thursday, but also a substantial change in the overall weather pattern to noticeably colder than its been for at least the last ten days of the month.
