Discussion

After a frosty start to the day, temperatures this afternoon will remain well below normal for this time of year despite plenty of sunshine. Clouds will be on the increase late today and especially tonight and this should prevent overnight low temperatures from getting as cold as they did last night. Low pressure will slide by to our north on Thursday and likely generate periods of rain in the local metro region. It actually could be just cold enough at the onset on Thursday for some snow to fall across places like NE PA, NW NJ, and especially interior New York State.
