Discussion
The new week starts off on the chilly side of normal with strong high pressure in control. After a milder day on Tuesday, a cold frontal system will arrive at mid-week bringing with it the threat for showers. An even stronger cold frontal passage will take place later Friday and this system will usher in the coldest air of the season so far. High temperatures on Saturday should struggle to pass the 50 degree mark and overnight lows could drop to the freezing mark.
