Discussion
The coldest air of the season so far has arrived in the Mid-Atlantic region and temperatures today will be confined to the 30’s which is well below normal for this time of year. In addition, the winds will be quite strong causing even lower wind chill values and there can be some snow shower activity in the immediate I-95 corridor. The below-normal chill will continue through the upcoming weekend and it looks like there will be another Arctic blast reaching us by the middle of next week. As far as precipitation is concerned, low pressure will approach at the end of the weekend and it is likely to produce snow and/or rain around here Sunday night and Monday.
