Discussion
Strong high pressure will continue to control the weather across the Northeast US and Mid-Atlantic region right through the weekend and into the middle part of next week. Temperatures will gradually climb over the next couple of days so that by Sunday we'll be near 70 degrees for highs and well into the 70's on Monday. Cooler air will, however, make a return to the Mid-Atlantic region by Tuesday and Wednesday next week. One final note, it’s liable to be quite a bit cooler this weekend at the Jersey Shore with an ocean flow of air.
