Discussion
A warm frontal system has stalled out well south of the area and high pressure to our north will expand southward today. As a result, early morning clouds should give way to plenty of sunshine and the improved conditions should last through Thursday as well. By tomorrow night, however, clouds will return to the area ahead of an approaching cold front and showers and thunderstorms are likely as we close out the work week. Additional showers are likely on Saturday as another frontal system arrives and then chilly air for this time of year will arrive for Sunday.
