Discussion
Skies finally cleared on Sunday to allow for sunshine in the Mid-Atlantic region that had been missing for several days and today will feature plenty of early sunshine along with very comfortable temperatures. The clear skies, however, will not last too long as a warm frontal system will cause an increase of clouds later today and there is the threat for showers on Tuesday. High pressure to our north will expand southward at mid-week and produce a couple of decent days around here. A cold front is likely to generate showers and thunderstorms at the end of the work week.
