Discussion

A couple of low pressure systems will move southeastward along a boundary zone and keep it unsettled around here right into tomorrow with occasional rain and possible thunderstorms - and some of the rain will fall heavily at times. The weekend will likely turn out quite nice thanks to sprawling high pressure across the Upper Midwest and Northeast US. Elsewhere, low pressure will try to form near or just off the Southeast US coastline this weekend and then head out towards the open ocean. However, beyond that there are signs that it could actually "back-in" towards the Mid-Atlantic coastline early next week and we'll have to monitor that possibility in the coming days.
