Discussion
High pressure over the region will slide offshore over the next 24 hours or so and this will allow for much warmer air to make a brief appearance here at mid-week. A strong cold front will then slide through the region tomorrow night and this will usher in the coolest air so far this month and it’ll feel like fall on Thursday and Friday with afternoon temperatures primarily in the 70’s on both days. As far as our dry spell is concerned, while tomorrow night’s frontal passage can spark an isolated shower, it does not look like it’ll be any kind of a significant rain event. Our best chance may come in the Sunday/Monday time frame of early next week and that event could contain some decent rainfall.
