Discussion

Today will feature the hottest temperatures of the week, but the noticeable warmup will be short-lived as a strong cold front whips through the region in the overnight hours. As a result, Thursday and Friday will be fall-like with afternoon temperatures generally confined to the comfortable 70’s. The frontal system will likely only generate a few isolated showers and thunderstorms later tonight in the immediate I-95 corridor and we’ll likely have to wait until Sunday or so before there is a chance for any decent rainfall in the area.
