Discussion
It has been quite dry in the I-95 corridor in recent weeks and some decent rainfall would indeed be a welcome sight for many. In fact, we’ll have the best chance in several days to get some significant rainfall during the second half of the weekend and early part of next week as a cold frontal system slowly works its way through the area. In addition, Tropical Storm Julia continues to meander off the Southeast US coastline this morning and its moisture field can even interact with this approaching cold frontal system late this weekend and help to enhance the rainfall amounts along portions of the east coast. Today will be another rain-free day as we close out the work week with continued comfortable temperatures and the weekend will start off quite nice with some sunshine on Saturday before clouds roll in ahead of the frontal system.
