Strong high pressure stays close to the Mid-Atlantic region for the remainder of the week and even through the upcoming weekend. Each day through Sunday should feature at least some sunshine and temperatures will remain rather comfortable for this time of year. A cold front will slowly approach the region from the Upper Midwest early next week and this could tap into Gulf of Mexico moisture and ultimately result in a soaking rain event for much of the eastern US in the Tuesday/Wednesday time frame. One final note, it is looking quite nice for Saturday in Happy Valley (PSU/Michigan)...highs near 70 degrees, temps falling into the 50's during the “white out” game at night.
