Discussion
Temperatures this afternoon should climb into the low-to-mid 60's which is well above normal for this time of year, but that will be the high point of the week as colder air pushes in on Thursday shaving about ten degrees off of today's highs. A few showers are possible on Thursday night and then it should generally be seasonably chilly on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Looking ahead, a major pattern change is likely to begin later next week with colder-than-normal conditions coming to the central and eastern US and it looks like this new pattern will stick around for awhile.
