Discussion

It’ll be another warm day in the Mid-Atlantic region as we start the new work week, but a cold front is approaching the region and it will generate showers later today and perhaps even a thunderstorm. Low pressure will form along the frontal boundary zone on Tuesday over the Tennessee Valley and move towards the Mid-Atlantic coastline producing additional showers around here. Cold high pressure will take over for the latter part of the week following the Thursday night passage of a strong cold front and our temperatures will slide to below-normal levels.
