Discussion
Surface high pressure will build into the southern US later today and it’ll result in milder weather as we start the weekend. While temperatures will hold in the 40’s today across much of the Tennessee Valley, they should climb well into the 50’s on both weekend days. A quick-moving shortwave will push northeastward from Texas on Saturday night and it could result in some shower activity for the region.
